I'm easily distracted away from writing, however, when there is a writing platform presenting as an irresistible offering within the community-I'm in. My friend's seem to know this about me and send encouraging texts (Thanks Allison)! By profession, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Telluride. Currently, I reside in Ophir and love being intimate with the dynamic wildness of my surroundings. I'm a mother of three daughters and a grandmother to one grandson. I have a strong relationship with simplicity and value the practices of yoga, Tibetan Buddhism and the Wim Hof Method to keep me grounded, clear and relentlessly humbled by the embrace of compassion.
My 18 year old daughter, Natalie, is an inspiration when it comes to photography and I am often blown away by her ability to capture the true essence of the people and places she photographs.
Musically, I am also captivated and find myself drawn to new and old artists that collaborate with like-minded souls for causes that support the earth, animals, and altruism while diving deep into the roots of musical expression. Right now, Lucas Nelson -the son of Willy Nelson - is definitely tugging at my most primal heartstring of appreciation and inspiration for his connection to the old and the new.
Dear Lynton, So wonderful to hear a bit about you -- thank you so much for joining the workshop! I'm also a huge fan of Lucas Nelson and hope that you'll find these threads of compassion and inspiration weaving through this class. Welcome! Tessa
