Hi, my name is Seth and I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I saw this workshop posted and it sounded very interesting to me. I’m not the greatest at writing and due to my work I tend to come off very dry. I work as an Environmental Health Inspector and lead foodborne investigator for a local Health Department. I have a science degree and I’m very passionate about the environment and reducing plastic pollution. It‘s a goal of mine to return to the wildlife field as a biologist or work with an organization reducing pollution within the oceans. I find beauty in nature and enjoy being outdoors. Traveling to National Parks is how I spend my vacations. Artistically I’m not very talented other than woodworking and playing the drum set. Recently I have gotten into roasting my own coffee and it’s rewarding purchasing from small coffee farms and crafting your own roast. I am looking forward to reading and sharing our writing.
