Tina Duemler
Artist Statement:
From the beginning, I have been an observer of nature and people. After moving to a farm in Wisconsin, my fascination with the landscape and its fluctuation took a new level of meaning for me. I wanted to capture the moments, the light and the mood as I saw it. After working as a studio artist, I ventured outside, studying the land around me, trying to capture the essence of what I was experiencing. I work primarily in oils and enjoy working both in and out of the studio, each having their unique qualities.
Membership: Plein Air Artists Colorado, Oil Painters of America, American Women Artists, and American Impressionist Society.

Biography:
Earning both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees in Art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I have taught painting and drawing at Blackhawk Technical College in Wisconsin. Workshops in Wisconsin and Colorado were taught during the summer months. I have served as a juror for adult and youth art exhibits and have served as a volunteer for several area art organizations. Time spent, doing artist in residence, in many Wisconsin schools helped me realize the vast creativity of our youth. Music also plays an important role in my life and art.
