TAMMI BRAZEE

HUMAN|NATURE

October into Nov 2022

Tammi Brazee's new painting series, Human - Nature,  explores the behavioral similarities between humans and animals and is an outrageous romp through the wilds of “what if?” What if humans behaved like Bower birds during mating season or deer during the rut? What if humans engaged in annual migrations, gathered in herds, or strutted like a flamboyance of flamingoes? When visualizing these scenarios, they are somehow both hilariously ridiculous and precariously truthful. We have more in common with our wild kin than we sometimes care to admit.
