Photography Invitational Featuring Angela Moyer & Lars Leber
This July, 610 Arts Collective presents a dynamic Photography Invitational featuring the work of Angela Moyer and Lars Leber. Known for their evocative visual storytelling, Moyer and Leber each bring a distinct artistic voice to the medium—blending mood, texture, and composition to create powerful, immersive imagery. This exhibition invites viewers to engage with photography as both art and experience, exploring how light, moment, and vision come together through the lens.
This show will run from July 1st - 25th.
Angela Moyer Since she could hold a camera, Angela Moyer has been captivated by the art of photography. Growing up in South Dakota, she found joy in capturing moments and immortalizing memories from a tender age. In 2007, Angela moved with her family to Colorado, where her passion for photography evolved from “snapshots” to the art of photography. Angela’s journey into photography began in high school, where she took her first formal photography classes. These foundational years honed her skills and deepened her appreciation for the craft. Her talent and dedication have earned her numerous awards and have led to her work being published in various publications. For Angela, photography isn't just about the images; it’s about the experiences and connections forged along the way. She delights in sharing her photographic adventures with family and friends, creating memories that go beyond the frame. Her keen eye for detail and natural beauty is evident in her stunning landscape photography. Angela thrives on getting out into nature, embracing the tranquility and splendor of the great outdoors. Whether it's a majestic mountain range, a serene lakeside, or a hidden forest trail, she finds inspiration in the world around her and brings it to life through her lens. With a deep love for nature and a dedication to her craft, Angela’s photography offers more than just images; she creates visual stories that speak to the heart and soul. Each photograph is a testament to her talent, passion, and unwavering commitment to capturing the essence of every moment.
Lars Leber Lars Leber was born and raised in Germany. Since moving to Colorado, he has spent a lot of his time in the outdoors to pursue hiking, backpacking, and fishing. Lars is extremely passionate about photography and always comes up with new exciting landscape photographs. Lars’ main goal simply is to “take interesting photos”. He is mostly known for his landscapes but also takes portraits and does commercial photography. Winner of the Gazette’s “Best of the Springs” Fine Art Photography Award in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022! He is now based in Salida, Colorado but travels to Colorado Springs often.
