March Exhibition
SIRENS
A Quiet Spell

This March we have work from Durango Artist, Tad Smith. The figurative paintings in this exhibit appear to be 2-dimensional but with a scan of a QR code using your phone – a 3-dimensional world emerges using augmented reality.

Sirens: A Quiet Spell unfolds during Women’s History Month as an invitation rather than a declaration. This exhibition centers on figurative paintings of women who exist in a space between myth and presence, stillness and motion, silence and sound. Drawing from the enduring figure of the siren, the work asks us to pause and reconsider what we think we know, perhaps reimagined mythology?

An artist reception will be held on March 6th from 5 - 7 pm. Have a beverage, enjoy snacks and meet the artist!
